Animage's Reviews: Anime Spring Line up part 1

Ok, after a few days of diving thorough a handful of this year's new anime titles i can finally do a review on what i have seen so far. Considering by now there are only one or two episodes available. Starting off the list :

Fractale

This is one of the few from the entire spring releases i'm going to go out of my way to watch to some extent, is so far so good that Funamation has already liscenced the series before it's even reached its second episode on Japan. Word is they are on a serious drive to remove any and all illegal episodes availavle online for download, share or stream.
The story though from my perspective so far reminds me or a variety of games and anime mixed together, the weird religious-like factor and main characters remind me of those from Nausicca of the valley of wind, Tales of Legendia and Ar tonelico.
The basic story so far is a fairly spazzy guy living in the countryside in a world run by what seems to be a huge computer system the people somewhat praise like a god, sees a girl being chased by three weird people in an airship. He manages to help and hide her in his home from them as payment she give him a pendant before disappearing, he looks up the pendant on his computer ( which acts something like a flash drive i think) it materializes into another girl that has something to do with an ancient program called pandora.
From this point i can safely assume that he is going to journey to find the girl who gave him the pendant in the first place.
Animage Rating: Interesting, has some non-over the top kind of comedy though the story is pretty generic ( 6.5/10)

Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka?

 This is biggest load of crack i've seen since MM!, the entire show so far is a boot-leg off of a ton of other games. 3x3 Eyes, Zombie Loan, Cardcaptors,Fate Stay Night, Shana, Bleach and Excel Saga are a few that are quite obvious in the episode so far and it seems they're going to stretch to Naruto in the next episode with the title "Vampire Ninja".

The story is about a fella who was brought back to life by a necromancer ( who now free-loads lives with him) because he wants revenge on the person who killed him. From that storyline you'd probably think that this is pretty normal but when Manty ( not panty) shots, random (male) nakedness is flying across the screen and male crosssdressing defeating giant crustaceans and bears get into the mix not to mention potential ass-rape ....yeah that aint normal....

Aniamge Rating: My poor brain cannot take much more than one episode of this, if you love the random kinda anime that has no real plot they this is defiantly for you but for me i rate this a (2/10) @~@.

 Yumekui Merry
This was the most confusing of all the series i've seen so far. I am not too clear on what was going on aside from i know the main female character is lost and has something to do with dowsing into people's dreams and she has no memory. Unfortunately, though it does have pretty dark points to it, it jsut does not catch my attention whatsoever.
The characters have no kind of personality to them and the story is trying to hard seem mysterious.

Animage Rating: 1/10 outright boring to me but is a good cosplay opportunity  >~<

Gosick

Now this is a pretty weird series, another mix and mash story ( which seems to be the trend this year) with elements of Rozen Maiden,Kyo Kara Maou, Ace Attourney and Professor Layton.
The story is about a boy who attends a high class school where he is called the "black Omen" because he has black hair and back eyes ( seriously no idea why ) he decides one day to go to the library ( this library is about 5 stories tall ) waaaaay to the top of the library he notices something shiney and decides to mako, when he does he sees a little doll in black Loli clothes who greets him and fortells his future by saying he will return the next day for the sole purpose of keeping her entertained. He runs off because a dollie spoke to him but like any good mako still comes back to mako again and from that point on he willingly is her bitch. As far as i see every so often a detective comes to get a fortune telling from the doll to solve murders.

Animage Rating: The story really all over the place but still is somewhat interesting, its the kind of anime i will watch inbetween waiting for other anime to come out or if i'm seriously bored. (4/10)

Dragon Crisis
This one is just super generic, chobits kind of generic i highly doubt I'll be watching much more than just one episode personally. The story is about ordinary guy gets taken out of school randomly but his elder cousin to go sprang a "precious" ( my presssssssious ) which are items with magical abilities. They pretty much hijack some mafia-looking guys for a mystery case with a mystery precious which opens accidentally during the fracas to reveal a girl who can breath fire. After they narrowly escape when they get home the girl seems to only know how to say the guy's name and is super clingy to him as if they knew one another forever.
 After an awkward evening and a fifth element style crash course in language they find out she supposed to be some sort of legendary red dragon or the other who is significant in some way.

Animage review: i can talk out exactly how this anime will play through, he'll have some mousy chixor fall in love with him in his class she will avoid saying anything till the last min but he will already like the dragon chixor in the mean while dragon chixor is in love with him but she has some sort of civic duty to dragons and she cannot be with a human and she will break that becasue she is all powerful and they will be together and live happily ever after the end -_- ....i rate this a( 1/10) because its too predictable.
